Just another WordPress site
so, today I’m going to review two of my recent favorite Nip+Fab products.
but, before going for the full reviews, lets know a little about “Glycolic Acid” first, because, thats one of the main ingredients in both of the products.
what is Glycolic Acid?
well, Glycolic Acid is an Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) derivative, which is naturally collected from sugarcane. though, in modern days, its mostly made artificially.
use: Glycolic Acid is used in anti-aging products to help safely remove the thin outer layer of skin to reveal younger, brighter looking skin. Glycolic Acid helps brighten the skin, lighten spots and regular use of it can even out any discoloration of the skin. so, that was a short introduction of Glycolic Acid.
so, I’m starting with the Glycolic Cleansing Fix first.
Review: Nip+Fab Glycolic Cleansing Fix
it is a cleanser with the goodness of glycolic acid and olive oil. there are other active ingredients too. but, these two caught my eye to be honest. it also has Camellia Sinensis, (green tea) , which is great at shrinking large pores and soothe the skin.
so, my experience with the cleanser was pretty awesome! I just take one or two drop of this face wash and massage it on my already damp face in a circular motion. below, you can see how the cleanser looks like actually. it has no color, has a chemical smell which is not much bothering for me. actually, when I use the face wash regularly, I don’t even get the smell. lol! so, the fragrance is that subtle.
after massaging for 20-30 seconds, I go with washing my face with a lot of water, I pat the towel on my face and dry it well. remember to never rub you face with a towel. it might loosen the skin elasticity and make your skin older earlier (who wants that..huh!)
so, the after effect of washing my face with Nip+Fab Glycolic Cleansing Fix, my face really looks bright and refreshed and my pores look very much tightened of course! this face was really cleanses deeply, you’ll feel it right way after using.the face wash gives a glow to the skin. and I’m like, wow! where was the face wash all these years!
so, overall, its a great facewash. I use it in my makeup removing ritual too. I shall talk about my makeup removal ritual in some other blog post soon.
so, lets take a quick look at the pros and cons of the facewash.
cons: as the cleanser tightens pores and gives the whole face a slightly tightening feeling, people with dry skin might feel the skin too dried up ! so, the cleanser it best for normal/ combo to oily skin beauties.
how do I use Nip+Fab Glycolic Fix Exfoliating Facial Pads?
well, after washing my face with Nip+Fab Glycolic Cleansing Fix, I take out one of the facial pads and rub it gently at the face in circular motion. I rub both of the sides. and if there is any residue of makeup, grime it easily cleanses off. one pad is enough for the skin and neck area and décolleté.
note: make sure that you leave the eye area as the products contain glycolic acid, it might be too harsh for the delicate eye skin. also, these pads can be used only two times per day.
to conclude, I would say, after using the cleanser and the facial pads back to back, my skin really looks brighter, more toned , soft and much soothed. :). also, I dont need to use a moisturizer whenever I use the facial pad. what else can I ask from a product ?
price: these are very affordable, always available at superdrugs, and as we know, superdrugs often provide sale. so, it would be a great idea to grab these when the sale goes on! yay!
if you have used the cleanser or the facial pads, please share your experience.
bubye for now!! 🙂
