Review on Patanjali Saundarya Aloe Vera Gel

Patanjali Aloe Vera Gel is a much hyped product nowadays. Almost all the online shopping pages are selling this product. As people are more beauty conscious now, we already know about the benefits of aloe vera gel . so, I’m not going to the details of the benefits of using aloe vera gel.

I’m going to talk about my experience with Patanjali Saundarya Aloe Vera Gel.

Packaging: as you can see, this gel is packed in a 150ml transparent tube with an orange flip cap. the tube is covered with printed logo and other details. for using, its a convenient packaging, as you can always control how much product you are going to get out. as it comes in a tube, the packaging is quite travel friendly.

How to use: The instruction of use is shown like this in the packet (Though its in Hindi). most of you have already seen this, yet I’m posting a picture.

How I use this product:

On Hair: After messaging oil in my hair, I use this aloe vera gel as a hydrating mask. T take a palmful and apply it all over my hair. On my hair, its non-sticky and blends in my strands easily. after one hour, I wash hair with shampoo, and condition as usual.

Sometimes I use this gel as a leave on hair serum by mixing 5-6 drops of treatment oil or leave in hair oil and applying thoroughly and letting the hair air dry. Hair seems more nourished and looks healthy with the application of Patanjali Saundarya Aloe Vera Gel.

For Skin: I have heard some people use it on skin too, but quite frankly, I stay away from colored products while its about my skin and skincare. Also, once I tried to apply it, but it doesn’t blend on the skin and doesn’t cool or refresh my skin. it is to mention that, I was staying indoors at that time. Also, after few hours, I have noticed some small breakouts around my chin. So I quickly washed it off.

Scent: This has an added fragrance, which is okay if you aren’t using it on skin.

Color: Unfortunately, this product is artificially colored. this gel has a green color. so, those who are thinking of using this product in skin, you should be more careful while choosing this product to hydrate your skin.

So, In one line, the product is okay to apply on hair, but not on skin. For me, the product didn’t live up to its hype! There are better Aloe Vera gels in market with a bit higher price and quantity.

This was my verdict on Patanjali Saundarya Aloe Vera Gel. Whats yours?
